Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety turned NFL analyst Ryan Clark has broken his silence since being let go by ESPN, showing concern not necessarily for himself, but for the other employees being laid off by the company.
At around 10:00 a.m. ET, Clark took to social media and praised the employees who still managed to give ESPN everything they had but were laid off anyway. Clark emphasized that he, out of everyone, knows how they feel.
“Sending prayers and love to all those laid off today by ESPN,” Clark wrote via X. “So many of you have poured your life into that company, & I know how you’re feeling right now. My hope is as this door closes another opens for you all. God bless!”
